1 month of CPAPikachu!
It’s been a month already, can you believe it?
Is it too weird that I’m celebrating? Well, I am, because I am treating this stupid Obstructive Sleep Apnea, doing something about it. I still need to lose all the weight in the world to get better, but the CPAP alone improved my sleep a lot.
I still wake up tired sometimes. But it’s “sometimes”, not “always”. One night or another I actually woke up refreshed!
I was worried I’d not get used to wearing a full mask (I am a mouth breather, so I had to get one of those), or that the soft wind from the machine would bother me, but I am totally used to both and I sometimes even forget I am wearing a mask attached to a tube. But it’s ok, the tube is safe, nothing bad happened. XD
So now, the only thing that’s been bothering me is my nose and mouth being super dry. I have to wake up frequently to drink water, apply the nose spray or lip balm. But I already asked my doctor for a humidifier and he’s going to talk to the company that rents me the machine.
So yay me! 1 month into a better sleep and better health. :)
